Non-European Union citizen requesting residence permit for more than 90 days

Non-EU foreign nationals who wish to stay in Italy for more than 90 days and must apply for a residence permit for religious reasons, scientific research, pending employment, study, medical treatment (accompanying person) and family reunification. You can choose coverage and assistance for 6 months or 1 year

  • HEALTH CARE COVERAGE
     

    • Reimbursement of medical expenses: Urgent hospital services (SSN) for sudden illness or injury (in Italy, including the Vatican City and Republic of San Marino, with no spending limits; in Schengen countries with a spending limit of € 30,000.00).

    • Assistance: medical re-entry without spending limits. The cover is valid until the date of the 75th (seventy-fifth) year of age.

    • Assistance, provided following an accident or illness (maximum 3 times per year), for:
       

      • Medical advice;

      • Sending a doctor or ambulance to your home in Italy in case of emergency;

      • Transfer and return from a hospital in Italy;

      • Access to network health;

      • Referral to a specialist doctor in Italy;

      • Home delivery in Italy;

      • Travel by a family member and interpreter available in Italy;

      • Cardiological, gynaecological, geriatric and paediatric advice;

      • Search and booking of specialist visits in Italy;

      • International second opinion.

      • Home adaptation: provides for the reimbursement of expenses incurred up to a maximum of €2,500.00 for work to adapt your home following an illness and/or accident resulting in a permanent disability of 70%.
